For which the user will have to follow four simple and easy steps to get it working- Firstly getting the device of mobile connected to the computer and enabling the USB Dubbing for the Android device. In case the user have not enabled the USB debugging then he will have to follow the following steps mentioned below-

  1. For Android of the earlier versions and 2.3-> click on the Setting->Applications->Development -.USB debugging –to be checked and then saved.
  2. For Android Version 3.0 to 4.1->Go to Settings->Choose Developers options-> and click on the USB Debugging
  3. For the higher versions from 4.2 to latest one’s of Android-> Move to Settings->About Phone->user will have to tap the options for several times until unless it receives “the development mode”->from here will have to go back to the developer mode and select the “Debugging USB” options.

After all the above processes user can move towards the process of scanning of the information of contacts which has been lost. In this step the device is detected by the computer and user can proceed further with the process. For which the user just has to click on the option Start->when the option is clicked then the button starts analyzing the information available on the device. When all the contact details have been fully scanned and recovered, the program is going to send the reminder to the user for closing the scanning process. Here the user can preview the information and select those options of information  by checking the box in front for which the user wants  to recover the information and save it on the system. The information which is available on the scan output are the one which has been deleted or removed recently. The recent once will be showcased with the Orange color and those which were existing on the Android will be displayed in black. Users can separate them with the help of the option “only display the deleted items”.

The other alternative way for restoring deleted contacts from android is by using a Google account. For restoring the contacts user can login via their Google username and password From Gmail –go to the contact section where the user will find the contact option on the top left portion. On clicking this option- user will be directed to contact page- user should select the more options-then click on the restore contacts available there. As soon as the users click Google will pop up a new window on the screen with the question that whether the user wishes to restore the deleted contacts. IF user selects yes-then the data will be retrieved and the confirmation will be displayed on the screen.

Once the information is restored on the Google Account-user will have to get it sync with the Android handset. For which user will have to go to their Android mobile settings->account choice-Google account ->then sync.
