According to a report by a leading news agency, the data of Truecaller’s Indian users which includes their names, phone numbers, email addresses, is available for sale online. It said that the data of around 140 million users is sold for 1.5 lakhs INR on the dark web. A sample set was also analysed by the agency and it found that details like personal identifiers, mobile service providers and state of residence of the users, etc. were indeed available in the same. GOOGLE AI BETTER THAN RADIOLOGISTS IN DETECTING LUNG CANCER

An advanced artificial intelligence (AI) system was unveiled by Google recently which was able to detect lung cancer in early testing and performed even better than professional radiologists. The system was trained on around 42,000 CT scans that were taken during a National Institutes of Health clinical trial and was able to detect 5% more cancers and 11% false positives, the study showed. 300 CR INR DEFENCE CONTRACT SIGNED BY TECH MAHINDRA WITH INDIAN NAVY

BOARDING PASSES AT AIRPORTS TO BE SOON REPLACED BY FACIAL RECOGNITION

Under a project named “Digi Yatra”, the Kempegowda International Airport (KIA) is looking to set up a facial recognition system that can replace the boarding passes of the passengers of various domestic airlines.
