The name of this top executive is Manuj Khurana. Khurana, who was hired by Tesla to lobby with the Indian government, reportedly resigned due to growing uncertainty over Tesla’s entry into the Indian market. This uncertainty is mainly due to Elon Musk’s refusal to accept the Indian government’s tough condition. According to this tough condition, Tesla won’t be allowed to sell cars in India until it sets up a manufacturing plant in India.
