Zerodha backed GrowFix rebrands itself as Wint Wealth

Alternate debt asset platform GrowFix will now be known as Wint Wealth. The company said that it decided to rebrand itself with a new name as the old brand name created some misconception among its customers.

GrowFix’s co-founder Ajinkya Kulkrani took to his Twitter handle to make an official announcement about the rebranding. Kulkrani argued on his twitter handle that the word ‘fix’ in the old brand name GrowFix created a perception that the platform guarantees profitable return, which the company believed was open for misinterpretation.

Kulkrani further said that the word ‘Wint’ in the new brand name Wint Wealth is actually a Dutch word and stands for profit or gain.

Earlier this year, GrowFix had raised $2Mn seed funding from high-profile investors including Zerodha’s fund Rainmatter Capital, Better Capital, CRED’s founder Kunal Shah, Paytm’s ex-CEO Praveen Jadhav and other investors.

Founded in January 2020, the startup seeks to redefine India’s investment ecosystem by offering improved ‘debt assets’ to retail investors. The company argues that investment in debt assets continues to remain low in India and want to amend this scenario by growing awareness about debt assets and their reliability as a safe investment option.
