Apple has fixed late September as the launch period for launching iPhone 14. According to Bloomberg, the tech giant will be unveiling the first official look of its iPhone 14 in a launch event that will be held in the first week of September. Keeping in mind the COVID-19 protocol, Apple will be holding this event online. iPhone 14 also assumes a huge importance for India as this may be the first time that Apple may start simultaneous production of its newly launched iPhone both in India and China. Apple has a manufacturing plant in the southern state of Tamil Nadu from where it manufactures made-in-India iPhones.

Airbnb starts beta testing anti-party features in U.S. & Canada

After permanently banning house parties just a few months back, home rental marketplace Airbnb has announced that it has started beta testing a new feature that will help in enforcing this ban more efficiently. Currently being beta tested in the U.S. and Canada, this feature will get hold off the party addicts and eventually cancel their bookings by looking into the guests’ review history, the length of the day they are requesting, whether they are booking for weekdays or weekends so and so forth. Airbnb’s decision to aggressively go behind the party animals comes after relentless complaints by the homeowners.

Elon Musk created a huge buzz on social media on Tuesday after he tweeted that he is planning to buy English premier club Manchester United. However, the tech billionaire later clarified that he was just joking. Musk, who has over 100 Mn followers on Twitter, has a notorious reputation of making such controversial tweets. Few months back he had tweeted about buying famous beverage company Coca Cola but later even this tweet turned out to be a huge joke. The Tesla boss is currently locked in a high profile legal battle with Twitter for illegally walking off from a $44 Bn deal.

The netizens have been left surprised by baby Jesus’ stark and uncanny resemblance with Facebook’s founder Mark Zuckerberg. Scores of Twitter users have now shared and retweeted this photo. The most surprising reaction was from Twitter’s former CEO Jack Dorsey, who reacted to the photo by simply captioning ‘Meta,’ referring to the new brand name of Facebook & Instagram’s parent company. Well, Mark Zuckerberg does need a special blessing from Lord Jesus considering the risky bet he has taken on Metaverse.

As per reports, Byju’s auditor Deloitte is unwilling to sign the company’s balance sheet, raising serious questions over the edtech giant’s accounting practices. However, Byju’s has repeatedly denied these media reports and assured that its FY21 financial statement will be published as early as possible.
