Attention Startups ! “Launch:Silicon Valley” is Back…(Updated)

In this article we will tell you about silicon valley launch. The 2009 edition of Launch: Silicon Valley, a product launch platform for web startups.

Angels is scheduled to be held  on June 9, 2009 at the Microsoft Campus in Mountain View, California. The event will give only 30 web startups, a chance to present at Launch: Silicon Valley before an audience of several hundred of the most influential people in the Valley.

In case you are a startup company and interested in presenting your product or service at this event, do main your executive summary to Launchsv@svase.org by May 15th, 2009 to the event organisers. There is no fee to submit to Launch: Silicon Valley and to be eligible, a company must have a product available that a customer can buy (it can be Alpha, Beta or full production). Submissions will be reviewed by their panel & only selected companies will be invited to present at the event.

Each year, this event draws several hundred VCs, Angels, corporate business development executives, prospective customers and partners, media and bloggers.

Launch: Silicon Valley is organised to uncover and showcase products and services from the most exciting of the newest startups in information technology, mobility, security, digital media, next generation internet, life sciences and clean energy. The event is an ideal platform to launch your company by providing global exposure from bloggers, PR, TV and other media notables.

Update: Out of the 30 companies that presented in Launch: Silicon Valley 2009, few of them really left great impression on the VC and Angel fraternity, sitting right there at the event.

Few of them are HearPlanet(An iPhone app, they are probably the winners of the event), Tunebug, ECitySky (chinese gaming site), Cellwand (canadian mobile code app), Lumiette (flat panel lamps).
