Netflix kicks off its Password Sharing Feature in U.S & 100 other countries

Netflix’s much awaited password sharing feature has started becoming active in the U.S with the streaming platform giving out details how it will go about in charging for this feature. The streaming giant will allow its users to share password outside their household depending on which plans they have subscribed. For instance, Netflix standard plan users will be allowed to add only one extra non-household member who will be paying $7.99 per month for the service. The streaming giant has been forced to launch the password sharing feature after realizing that its users are abusing and misusing passwords, causing enormous loss for the company.

Microsoft launches Copilot AI Assistant for Windows 11     

Microsoft is bringing its recently launched AI feature Copilot for Windows 11. Copilot will be directly integrated into Windows and available from taskbar. Microsoft said that “once open, the Windows Copilot will stay consistent across all apps, programs and windows” and act as your personal assistant. Copilot, according to Microsoft, can fulfil host of tasks for you including customizing your settings, seamlessly connect across your favorite apps, summarizing the content & rewriting it and many more things. Microsoft had launched Copilot in March this year as an AI assistant feature for Microsoft 365 applications.

Adobe brings Generative AI Editing to Photoshop

Photoshop, unarguably one of the most used photo editing software, will bring a new generative AI editing feature to its platform later this year. Photoshop’s parent company Adobe said that this new feature will let users add, remove and extend visual content based on natural language text prompts. The company added that the generative AI editing tool will be available in beta version for desktop users starting from today and the feature will be more widely available for use in the second half of 2023. Generative AI has almost become a buzz following the groundbreaking success of ChatGPT.

Uber partner with Google Waymo for Robotaxi service  

Google’s autonomous driving company Waymo announced a multiyear partnership with Uber. Owing to this multi-year agreement, Uber’s customers can avail Waymo’s self-driving cars in the Phoenix area of Arizona. Uber can also use Waymo’s fleets for delivering UberEats orders. Arizona’s Phoenix area is ‘the world’s largest fully autonomous service area,’ according to Waymo. Waymo and Uber were former rivals before the latter decided to sell its autonomous car unit to Aurora in 2018 for nearly $245 Mn.

Jeff Bezos, who is currently in France to attend the prestigious Cannes Film Festival, has reportedly got engaged to his long-time muse Lauren Sanchez. According to the sources, the Amazon founder proposed to Sanchez on his superyacht Koru, which is worth nearly $500 Mn. The couple were sailing through the Mediterranean Sea at the time of fairy tale proposal. Sanchez, who is a former journalist and is already married twice, was recently seen a stunning ring earlier this week, sparking off engagement rumours since then.
