Elon Musk wants to Block Twitter’s Speedy Trail

Tech billionaire Elon Musk has said that he needs more time to prepare for legal trail over his controversial withdrawal from the agreement to acquire Twitter for $44 Bn. The Tesla CEO has said in the legal petition that he does want the trail to begin until next year. This is in sharp contrast to Twitter, which wants the trail to go on floor as early as September this year. Musk has also argued in the petition that Twitter wants to use speedy trail as an unfair strategy to coverup its fake account problem. Notably, it was only because of the fake account problem that Musk decided to backout from the Twitter deal.

Vladmir Putin Bans Crypto payment in Russia

Last week, Russian President Vladmir Putin signed a bill that effectively bans crypto and NFT payments in Russia. This means that going forward Russians cannot use cryptos like Bitcoin & Ethereum as well as other popular digital assets for buying goods and services. However, mind you, Russians are still legally allowed to invest in cryptos and NFTS. For all those who don’t know, Russia’s Central Bank has been lobbying hard since last year to ban crypto payments in the country. The Russia’s parliament had passed the bill to ban the crypto payment in June itself. And with Vladmir Putin now signing on the bill, making payments through Bitcoin and other digital assets has been legally banned.

WhatsApp may soon allow you to add voice message to your status

Until now WhatsApp users could only add photos and videos to their status. But in near future they could be allowed to even add voice message to their status. According to reports, the Meta owned platform is currently working on such a feature and may soon start beta testing. Going by the reports, it seems that WhatsApp may take several months before it starts rolling out this feature. Off late, the instant messaging platform has been busy in launching several new features, including the new feature to allow users to react to the messages with any emoji of their choice.

Netflix went down last weekend

Did your plan to watch a movie on Netflix got spoiled on Friday night? Well, you were not the only one to have faced this problem. Turns out, Netflix faced an outage during the late hours on Friday, affecting viewers not only in United States, France but also in India. Many Netflix users took to Twitter to complain about the outage.  However, according to reports, this outage lasted only for few hours as Netflix sought to fix the problem quickly. For all those who don’t know, Netflix had also faced outage in December last year. Currently, Netflix has over 220 Mn subscribers across the world.
