Tech billionaire Elon Musk, whose personal life has always been a subject of hot topic, reportedly had a scandalous affair with none other than Google’s Co-founder Sergey Brin’s wife. What’s even more interesting, Musk may have been the reason for breaking Sergey Brin’s three-year-old marriage with his wife Nicole Shanahan. By the way, off late Musk’s sex life has been feeding the media frenzy. Recently, the tech billionaire was in the news for giving birth to twins from his alleged affair with one of his employees from his company. He was also in news for allegedly sexually assaulting for one of his SpaceX female employees.

China’s Honor to exit the Indian market

A well-known Chinese smartphone manufacturer Honor has announced that it is all set to exit from the Indian market. The company hasn’t cited any official reasons but it is believed that the sluggish sales and revenue has forced its exit from India. However, Honor’s exit could not have come at a more interesting time, when other popular Chinese smartphone manufacturers like VIVO, Oppo and Xiaomi are been gagged by Indian tax authorities. Indian tax authorities have levelled several charges against these companies including the serious charges of money laundering and tax evasion. However, Chinese companies have flatly denied these allegations.

Google’s fires its top AI Engineer (Here’s why)   

Google has reportedly decided to sack its AI engineer Blake Lemoine, who almost a month back had created a storm by making a controversial claim. Back then, Lemoine had claimed that Google’s AI bot project has developed human-like qualities. He went on to add that this AI bot is demonstrating human-like emotions. Spooked by this controversial claim, the tech giant had immediately decided to temporarily suspend Lemoine. But now it seems that Google has decided to convert the temporary suspension into permanent termination. The company reportedly said that the AI engineer broke the confidential agreement that he had signed with the company.

Probe Byju’s funding, says India’s top MP

Karti Chidambaram, Congress MP and son of former finance minister P B Chidambaram, recently tweeted that he wants Edtech giant Byju’s business and accounts to be thoroughly investigated by a leading investigative agency. In his tweet, Karti said that he has written a letter to SFIO – a leading agency that investigates corporate fraud – to dig deep into Byju’s books and accounting practices. Since the last few weeks Byju’s – which is India’s most valued startup – has been in the news for all the wrong reasons. One of reasons why Byju’s off late is having such a tough time because it has still not announced its FY21 financial results.

Online insurer Policybazaar gets hacked

Online insurance market place Policybazaar said on Sunday that it has suffered a data breach due to unauthorized access to its IT system. However, the company has assured that its customers’ confidential data is still 100% safe and secure. The company so far hasn’t blamed any hacking group for this incident. Few days back, the Flipkart backed travel company ClearTrip’s data was also hacked. Policybazaar, which reportedly serves more than 9 Mn customers, is a listed company. The company had brought its IPO in the open market last year. However, like most other startup stocks, even Policybazaar’s stocks are currently trading below the IPO price.
