Threads is testing Trending Topics feature in the US

Meta’s newly launched microblogging platform Threads has announced that it is testing trending topics feature in the US market. As and when this feature will be launched, it will be a great addition to Threads., mainly because trending topics is one of the important features in its main rival ‘X.’ Therefore, adding this feature will help Threads to compete more efficiently with Elon Musk’s ‘X.’ In another major announcement, Meta said that ‘political content’ will be allowed in the trending topic section. This revelation comes barely 24 hours after the company said that it will be curbing  political content on Instagram and Threads.

OpenAI’s CEO Sam Altman has become a big fan of Apple’s recently launched Vision Pro Headset. He took to his X account to appreciate the mixed reality headset, calling it the ‘second most impressive tech that has been launched after iPhone.’ However, he didn’t specify whether he’d personally tried the headset. While OpenAI CEO’s statement has created quite a buzz in the tech industry, concerns exist regarding accessibility due to the high price of the Vision Pro. The mixed reality headset is priced at whopping $3,500. The lack of essential apps like Netflix. YouTube and Spotify is also considered as a major drawback.

However, this domination lasted only for brief time as Amazon’s stocks rallied back and ended the day with slightly higher market valuation of $1.79 trillion. Fueled by its huge demand for AI chips, Nvidia’s growth prospects have improved dramatically over the last one year.
