Best Windows 8 Tablet with Pen Input

In this article we will tell you about some of the best windows 8 tablet with pen input. Here are the complete details:

Tablets have changed the face of the gadget world. They are as powerful as desktops and as handy as laptops. Maybe they are much versatile than their compatriots. Of late, tablets have become affordable and there is a plethora of them flocking in the market. This article is aimed at Windows 8 tablets with pen input feature and the best of Windows 8 tablets are listed hereunder. The reason behind choosing the tablets with pen input is the increasing demand for the stylus supported tablets.

Microsoft Surface Pro

Surface Pro is the mainstream tablet from the software giant and is powered with Intel core i5 processor along with Windows8 OS. Users can run almost all their favorite programs that are currently running on their Windows desktop/laptop. Interestingly, this tablet has USB connectivity that could become boon-in-disguise for the users. Its screen resolution is set at 1080p and allows full HD display.

Surface Pro comes with awesome design and high build quality. Keyboard dock is available and has a inbuilt kickstand as well. Its mini HDMI port leverages greater viewing experience as users can plug their tablet to bigger screens. Now comes the stylus or pressure sensitive pen input built by Wacom. It not only writes but can erase the text input with its eraser that sits on the back.

The only drawback with Surface Pro is its limited storage. The OS alone takes away more than 70% of the SSD space thus making 64GB tablet highly compromised for hard disk space. Advanced users have to buy 128GB variant only.

Samsung ATIV Tab 3

ATIV Tab 3 is the latest release from Samsung in its tablet range. This tablet is powered by Intel Atom Z2760 processor and with 2GB RAM and 64GB inbuilt memory. It has a screen resolution of 1366×768 and comes with the Samsung’s special feature – the S Pen.

Samsung has added its proprietary software called SideSync that allows the users of ATIV Tab 3 to connect the tablet with any other device like a smartphone. The screens of both the devices would be synced by SideSync.

Samsung’s ATIV Tab 3 is preloaded with Windows 8, S Note 2.0 and Microsoft Office thus making it a good gadget for the people-on-go. The new, improvised S Note 2.0 has some advanced features like AirView by which users need not to touch the screen to have preview of the items but just hover over them.

Samsung Smart PC & Samsung Ativ Smart PC Pro

Market observers have opined that the two Windows 8 based products from Samsung i.e. Samsung Smart PC and Samsung Ativ Smart PC Pro are the competitors for Microsoft’s own product line i.e. Microsoft Surface Pro.

Till recently Samsung Ativ Smart PC was available for business users only but now it is being sold for domestic usage as well. It still retains the features like keyboard dock, full HD display and the pen input i.e. S Pen. It also touts the feature of HDMI feature through which users can connect the device with bigger monitors. Prima facie this tablet has been designed for professionals like design engineers.
