Tesla now wants to sell electricity to customers

Electric vehicle maker Tesla is seriously planning to entry the electricity retail market, with plans to sell electricity directly to customers in Texas. Tesla has already submitted necessary papers and files to regulatory bodies to apply for the license through a subsidiary. This subsidiary firm is known as Tesla Energy Ventures. According to Texas Monthly Magazine, Tesla can directly sell the electricity to state’s deregulated electricity grid.

Apple’s App Store has a good news for small developers

In order to settle a lawsuit filed by US developers, Apple on Thursday announced slew of changes to its app store. Allowing alternative payment option other than Apple’s native payment option, charging reduced commission from developers are some new concession offered to developers by Apple. Apple has also said that it will create $100 Mn fund to assist developers who earn less than $1 Mn annually.

Microsoft on Thursday sent a blatant warning to its cloud computing customers including large corporations that one of its database is vulnerable to data breach. This vulnerability has been found in Azure’s flagship Cosmos DB Database, the company has revealed. Microsoft added in a email sent to customers that since it can’t change the keys, they should the keys by themselves.
