    What is Quick Search?

Quick Search is a search tool that allows you to search for files on your computer by file name. It is available on Windows XP, Windows Vista, and Windows 7. If you have Quick Search turned on and you type a search query into the Start menu or the search box in Windows Explorer, Quick Search displays a list of files that match your search criteria.

    Why Delete Quick Search?

Quick Search is a tool that allows you to search for and find specific items in your device’s memory. While Quick Search can be convenient, it can also take up a lot of space on your device. If you’re low on storage, you may want to delete Quick Search to free up some space.

How does Quick Search find its way to your PC?

Quick Search is a potentially unwanted program (PUP) that is typically installed on users’ computers without their knowledge or consent. Once installed, Quick Search will add a toolbar to your web browser and set your homepage and default search engine to QuickSearch.com. Quick Search will then inject advertisements into your web browser when you visit websites that are not related to QuickSearch.com. These advertisements can take the form of banner ads, pop-up ads, text links, or even full-page ads.

Since Quick Search is a PUP, it is not considered malware. However, the presence of this program on your computer can be frustrating and annoying. In addition, Quick Search tracks your web browsing habits and may share this information with third-party companies for marketing purposes.

How to remove Quick Search from Windows PC?

Quick Search is a built-in feature in Windows that allows you to search your PC for files, folders, and other content. While this can be a useful feature, some users may want to remove Quick Search from their PC. This can be done by disabling the Quick Search feature in Windows.

To remove Quick Search Tool from your computer, you can use a malware removal tool or follow the instructions below.

    Instructions:

Open the Windows Control Panel and go to Programs (or Add/Remove Programs).

Find Quick Search Tool in the list of programs and click Uninstall/Remove.

Follow the prompts to complete the uninstallation process.

Reset your web browser settings: -For Internet Explorer: go to Tools > Internet Options > Advanced > Reset -For Firefox: go to Help > Troubleshooting Information > Reset Firefox -For Chrome: go to Settings > Show advanced settings > Reset browser settings

Delete any unwanted toolbar that may have been installed with Quick Search Tool. -For Internet Explorer: go to Tools > Manage add-ons > Delete any unwanted toolbar -For Firefox: go to Tools > Add-ons > Extensions > Delete any unwanted toolbar -For Chrome: go to Settings > Extensions > Delete any unwanted toolbar

How to uninstall Quick Search on Mac?

If you want to remove Quick Search from your Mac, follow these steps:

    1. Open Finder and go to Applications.
    2. Find the Quick Search app and drag it to the Trash.
    3. Alternatively, you can right-click on the app and select Move to Trash.
    4. Empty the Trash to complete the uninstallation process.

How did Quick Search Tool install on my computer?

Quick Search Tool is a potentially unwanted program that is installed on your computer without your knowledge. Once installed, it will add a toolbar to your web browser and modify your home page and search settings. It will also display ads and sponsored links in your search results. Quick Search Tool is not a virus, but it is classified as a PUP (potentially unwanted program) because it is difficult to remove and has been known to collect personal information.

If you did not install Quick Search Tool yourself, then it was probably installed by another program that you installed. Many free programs bundle PUPs in order to make money. You should always read the terms of service before installing any software, and be careful when installing anything from the internet.

    Alternatives to Quick Search

If you’re looking for an alternative to Quick Search, there are a few options:

    • One Option is to use the search bar in the upper right corner of the screen. Just click on the magnifying glass icon and enter your search terms.
    • Another option is to use the ‘Find’ function in your browser. In most browsers, you can access this by pressing Ctrl+F (Windows) or Cmd+F (Mac). This will bring up a search bar that you can use to find text on the current page.
    • If you’re looking for something specific, you can try using Google or another search engine. Just enter your search terms and add ‘site: quicksearch.com’ to narrow down the results to Quick Search.
