We contacted the customer service departments of the top 10 station chains in the US, and only two of them – Shell and 7-Eleven – confirmed that they accept Apple Pay at some locations. However, they could not provide us with a comprehensive list of locations where Apple Pay is accepted.

Some station chains, such as Chevron, ExxonMobil, and BP, have exploring implementing contactless payment options like Apple Pay in the past, but as of now, they do not have any concrete plans to do so.

Based on this information, we can conclude that if you’re looking to pay for gas with Apple Pay, your best bet is to visit a Shell or 7-Eleven location.
