Prerequisites

Disable all firewall, security and antivirus programs of the phone before you start installing. The battery of the device should be completely charged or it should be charged at least 80%. Create backup of all the necessary files, audio, video, SMS, MMS settings and bookmarks to prevent loss of data. Ensure the USB port used is in good condition. Enable debugging mode. Recent versions of Android SDK and Java SDK should be installed.

Step 1

Take the memory card from the device, and use a card reader to connect it. Do not use USB cables to avoid compatibility issues. In case, you do not have a card reader, then USB can be used, but however it is not recommended.

Step 2

Use the link CM10.1 Android 4.2.2 Samsung Galaxy Ace Duos S6802 downlaod. Zip and start downloading.

Step 3

After downloading this file start downloading Android 4.2.2 Gapps.zip file.

Step 4

In the SD card create a folder named ROOT. Now copy the files you have downloaded in this folder.

Step 5

Remove the SD card from the computer. Switch off and then insert it in the device.

Step 6

Press the Volume Down and Home buttons at the same time and boot in the recovery mode.

Step 7

You would find the Wipe Data / Factory Reset option in the Recovery Mode. Then select Wipe Cache Partition.

Step 8

Go to the Advance Settings; select Wipe Dalvik Cache to wipe it from the phone

Step 9

Now select install zip from SD card > Choose zip from SD card.

Step 10

Go to the menu and reboot the device.
