How to Bypass Google Account Verification after Reset Samsung

Your Samsung phone has been reset, and when you set it up again, it asks you to verify your Google account. The screen says, “This device was reset. To continue, sign in with a Google account that was previously synced on this device.” And the trouble is that you have forgotten the login credentials for that Google account.

If you are having this issue, the best course of action is to recover your Google account. But what if you can’t recover your account or you are experiencing this issue on a used phone that you purchased? This is where this article comes in. We will demonstrate how to bypass Google account verification after a factory reset on a Samsung phone.

Why is my phone asking for Google account after factory reset?

Your Samsung phone is asking for a previously synced Google account after a factory reset because the Factory Reset Protection (FRP) lock is activated. This is a security feature embedded in Android designed to prevent unauthorized access to your phone after a factory reset in an untrusted environment. Hers is a more thorough explanation.

In theory, a factory reset completely erases all data from your phone, including passwords and accounts. However, things are different if a Google account is set up on the phone.

Once you set up a Google account on your phone, FRP is enabled automatically. If you reset your phone in the Settings app, or manually remove your Google account prior to the reset, FRP is disabled. In this case, the phone is like a brand-new device after the reset, and anyone can use it without any restrictions.

However, if you factory reset your Samsung phone using its hardware buttons or other unconventional means without first removing the Google account, the FRP lock will be activated. Once the FRP lock is activated, the phone will ask for a previously used Google account (a PIN, pattern, or password on some devices) before you can access it again.

Method 1: Bypass Google account verification with PC

You can bypass Google account verification on a reset Samsung phone by using a specialized FRP bypass tool like iSumsoft Android Password Refixer on your PC. This is one of the best FRP bypass tools that enables you to instantly bypass Google account verification on any reset Samsung device with just a few mouse clicks on your PC. Developed with the latest FRP bypass technology, the tool works for all Samsung devices and all Android versions, including the newer Android 11/12/13.

Step 1: Download and install iSumsoft Android Password Refixer on your PC, and then launch it.

Step 2: Click the Install button near the top of the software screen, if it appears. Then, follow the wizard that pops up to install the driver that the program requires to recognize your Samsung phone.

Step 3: Select the Unlock Google Lock option and click Start on the next page. The software will automatically detect the Samsung phone connected to your computer.

Step 4: You’ll then see a series of options for bypassing the Google FRP lock named after the Android version. Select the first option “All Android Version”, which is the easiest and most effective method to bypass the FRP lock for all Android versions. Once selected, click Next to proceed.

Step 5: Follow the steps given on the software screen to manually bring up the diagnostic menu on your Samsung phone. Once the diagnostic menu appears on your phone, click Next on the software, and it will automatically send a USB debugging authorization notification to your phone.

Step 6: Once you get the USB debugging authorization dialog on your iPhone, check the “Always allow from this computer” checkbox, and then tap Allow. Once done, click Next on the software, and it will immediately start bypassing Google account verification on your Samsung phone.

Step 7: In just a few seconds, you will see the message “Removed Google Lock Successfully” on the software screen, which means you’ve successfully bypassed the Google account verification on your Samsung phone. At this point, your Samsung phone will automatically reboot and go straight to the home screen without requiring you to verify any Google account. You can then use your Samsung phone as normal and set up new Google accounts without any problems.

Method 2: Bypass Google account verification without PC

Using a PC as well as a FRP bypass tool like iSumsoft Android Password Refixer is the easiest and most effective way to bypass Google account verification on a factory-reset Samsung device. However, it’s possible that you don’t have a computer or that you don’t want to use any third-party PC software. So, is it possible to bypass Google account verification on a reset Samsung phone without using a PC?

It’s difficult, to be honest. Someone has found loopholes in the Samsung phone’s keyboard and Talkback that allow you to bypass FRP lock or Google account verification without using a PC. There are a few other common tricks, such as using SIM PIN codes or specific APK files. All of these techniques, however, don’t really work that well, especially if your Samsung device is running Android 7 or later. There is a high probability that you will end up with nothing after trying a series of maneuvers. This is because newer versions of Android have fixed such software bugs, making FRP bypass or any other hack impossible.
