According to reports, Youtube will stop accepting ads for its masthead ad units from certain verticals. This includes verticals like alcohol, gambling, election ads and political ads. Why this matters? Masthead ad refers to those ads that appear on Youtube’s Homepage feed, giving unprecedented exposure to the advertised products and services. Youtube, therefore, exuberant fees for running this ad.

U.S. Supreme Court gives LinkedIn another chance

American Apex court has given LinkedIn another chance to allow one of its rival companies in scraping personal information from its user’s public profile.  Whether Microsoft owned platform abides supreme court’s observation is to be seen. LinkedIn has always officially held that scraping personal information at a mass scale is actually illegal. However, in 2019 a American lower court had dismissed LinkedIn’s argument. After getting an unfavorable judgement from the lower court, LinkedIn filed a review petition in the supreme court.
