APPLE DEVICES NOW SUPPORT PAYPAL

Paypal is now one of the integrated payment methods in all Apple devices. With this Paypal has now extended its reach to over 11 new markets. The new markets are Canada, Spain, Mexico, Israel, Italy, the U.K, France, Germany, Australia and the Netherlands. This new integration will allow users to do in-app purchases and a host of other subscription activities.

MICROSOFT’S GIFT FOR VISUALLY CHALLANGED

Microsoft’s new AI app helps people with low vision to see and understand the world in a much better way. One of it is to identify currency and turn text to speech. Moreover, it even identifies the visual emotion. The app helps to build a better world for the person with low vision or completely blind. The Seeing AI app will add a lot to the lives of such people.

APPLE BOWS TO CHINA’S RULE

Apple has obeyed the new Chinese legislation requiring all the foreign players to establish the data centre in China itself if they want to operate in the country anymore. The Chinese authorities have said that this has been done to prevent cyber attacks in the future. However many overseas businesses have called out that this law is vague. But now if overseas companies want to operate then they would need to build the data centre in mainland China.

US GOVT FIRST STRIKE ON KASPERSKY

The US government has removed Kaspersky from its approved vendor list. However, Kaspersky says that it is caught in the geopolitical fight between the United States and Russia. Now Kaspersky is set to lose its contract with the US government, one of which was to provide tech solutions for the department of defence.

MICROSOFT LAUNCH AI LAB CHALLENGING GOOGLE

 Microsoft has created an AI research lab that would rival Google and Deepmind. The lab will do research for general purpose technology. Microsoft says that we are living in the golden age of AI and that this is just a beginning.

14 MILLION VERIZON CUSTOMER DATA LEAK

Due to lapse of one of the cloud partners of Verizon, who used to handle storage the customer data,  the personal details of around 14 million Verizon customers were available on the net for anyone to see in the month of June. The details were brought out through this report. Chris Vickery from Upguard was the person who unearthed this Verizon’s cloud data leak.
