You can now integrate ‘music videos’ into your ‘YouTube Shorts’

There is an exciting news for YouTube Short users. YouTube has just launched a new feature that will allow to use segments of official music videos in their YouTube Shorts. This feature likely aims to enhance YouTube Shorts’ competitiveness against TikTok. And interestingly, this move comes barely days after Universal Music cancelled its contract with TikTok, which removed vast amount of music library and catalogues from TikTok app. YouTube Shorts users must also note that not all music videos are available for remixing due to potential copyright restrictions. However, this feature is still great addition for YouTube Shorts and could help in competing more efficiently with TikTok.

TikTok app is now available on Apple Vision Pro

TikTok has just launched a dedicated app for the recently launched mixed reality headset Apple Vision Pro. This is a great news for TikTok as well as Apple Vision Pro users. Consumers can now enjoy their favorite TikTok videos while leveraging the capabilities of Vision Pro, offering them a more immersive experience compared to the mobile app. TikTok users should note that ‘navigation bar and like button’ will remain hidden on Vision Pro as it will help in maximizing the video space. Overall, this is a great news especially considering that many popular platforms like YouTube, Netflix and Spotify have still launched a standalone app for Apple Vision Pro.
