Microsoft almost overtakes Apple’s to become world’s most valuable company

On Wednesday, Microsoft witnessed dramatic surge in its stock price with its stock price surging almost 4.2%  to end up at $323.7. This stellar performance helped the tech giant to propel its valuation to nearly $2.426 trillion, just shy of Apple’s $2.461 trillion valuation. Investors are rallying behind Microsoft on the back of their good numbers during the third quarter. Much of these good numbers were due to Microsoft’s booming cloud business

Spotify claims that it has become America’s no 1 Podcast platform

Music streaming giant Spotify has claimed that it has overtaken Apple Podcast to become America’s most used podcast platform. The company during its third quarter’s earning calling cited Edison Research to make this claim. However, Spotify refused to shed light on approximate number of podcast listeners it currently commands in the U.S. market (Click here).
