A teardown of Huawei’s new smartphone Mate 60 Pro is powered by made-in-China chip. This chip has been manufactured by a Chinese company Semiconductor Manufacturing International Corp. This is a major breakthrough for Huawei in its attempt to overcome the U.S. sanctions, which has stopped the Chinese company from accessing chips manufactured by the American companies. Although the made-in-China chip is reportedly not all that powerful when compared with U.S chips, it is still powerful enough to be used in a high-end smartphone. This development also signifies that China can manufacture chips on its own, which should be cause of concern for the U.S.

Musk has filed a defamation lawsuit in federal court in New York.  In the same lawsuit, Musk has further alleged that ADL is pressurizing the advertisers to boycott X and not to spend any advertising money on the platform. The ADL’s tweet, which has since been deleted, said that Musk’s offer to buy Twitter was “an antisemitic dog whistle” and that it was “part of a pattern of antisemitic behavior by Musk.
