Kunal Shah Takes swipe at WFM Culture on Twitter, Sparks enraging Debate

CRED founder Kunal Shah has made no bones about how he feels about the work from home (WFH) culture that today has dominant and default work policy of most companies across the world. The famous entrepreneur tweeted on Sunday that WFH culture causes impedance in person’s growth and while it may look comfortable on the outset it will prove damaging in the long  run.

Given that whether WFH is a boon or bane has already become a contentious issue, Shah’s tweet on this matter was bound to attract more than a handful of reaction. Twitterati including few popular startup entrepreneurs openly expressed their opinions on Shah’s view on WFH issue. But true to the divisive nature of this issue, people’s opinion on this matter were very sharply divided.

While many did not support Shah’s views, others more than agreed with the opinion of the Cred founder. But going by sheer numbers then most people were supportive of the WFH model.

Now coming to other side of the paradigm, i.e. people or Twitterati that openly toed Shah’s line on WFH. People who are supportive more than agreed that real social connections that is enhanced by office model is mandatorily needed for employee growth.  While others said that offset the disadvantages caused by WFH, hybrid model is the way to go.
