Dozens of Big Companies are suspending ads on ‘X’

Elon Musk’s microblogging platform ‘X’ is facing massive backlash from big companies over platform’s inability to remove antisemitic posts. Nearly a week after IBM became the first big tech company to suspend advertising on ‘X,’ Apple and Disney have also made similar decisions. These companies are citing a recent report published by non-profit media organization Media Matters, which claimed that ads of these companies were repeatedly fond to be posted next to antisemitic posts. Although Musk so far has been so far hesitant in voicing its concern against antisemitic content, the company’s new CEO Linda Yaccarino has said that there is no place for hateful content on ‘X.’
