Tech giant Apple has started manufacturing its newly launched iPhone 14 in its Foxconn plant located in India’s southern state Tamil Nadu. This will be first time that Apple will be starting the production of iPhone in India within weeks after launching new model into the market. The made in India iPhone will be made available in the Indian market by the end of this year. According to JP Morgan, Apple may 5% of iPhone 14 production to India by end of this year and 25% by the end of 2025. Apple had first started manufacturing iPhone in India in 2017.

Tech billionaire Elon Musk was supposed to depose before the lawyers of Twitter for cross-questioning ahead of the trail that is supposed to begin next month. This deposition was supposed to take place on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. However, according to reports, this deposition has now been postponed but no concrete reason has been given for the same. In July this year Musk suspended the $44 Bn Twitter deal, forcing the latter to drag him to the court. Even the trial is yet to begin it has already gained lot of limelight for the obvious reasons.

Tamil Nadu government has passed an ordinance that seeks to permanently ban online gaming activities across the state. The ordinance will take a form of law once it is signed by the governor. This upcoming law will serve a huge setback for the nascent yet fast growing gambling industry. Moreso if other states also try to imitate the Tamil Nadu government. By the way, the Tamil Nadu government is also fighting the case in the Supreme Court where online gambling companies have filed a petition to revoke the upcoming ban.
