Open AI’s ChatGPT may soon have a new challenger and the new challenge to Open AI’s sensational chatbot comes from none other Elon Musk. According to a report published in The Wall Street Journal and The Financial Times, Musk is seriously planning to create a generative AI platform similarly to the lines of ChatGPT. Musk even conformed this in an interview with the news channel Fox News, saying “I am planning to start something which I call TruthGPT or maximum truth-seeking that tries to understand the nature of Universe.” However, currently not much is known about Musk’s generative AI platform. Few days back some media reports had claimed Musk had bought 10,000 Nvidia GPU processors to create an generative AI platform.

SpaceX postpones the launch of its powerful Rocket ‘Starship’

Everyone was waiting with bated breath but the launch of Starship rocket did not go through as per the scheduled plan. SpaceX called off the launch of Starship rocket on Monday at the eleventh hour from Boca Chica, Texas. The delay may have been caused due to a frozen “pressurant valve,” Musk later tweeted. But the tech billionaire downplayed the postponement of Starship launch, claiming that it is fairly common for a rocket to experience some kind of setbacks during its initial outings. He also added that SpaceX could try another launch later this week. Being the most powerful rocket ever designed, Starship is expected to be a game changer especially in transplanetary missions that is aiming for building a human colony on the red planet.

Sega may acquire Angry Birds’ parent company for $1 Bn

According to Wall Street Journal, Japanese video gaming giant Sega is tentatively planning to acquire Rovio, which is a parent company of popular mobile game Angry Birds. The report further claims that if the negotiation succeeds then the deal will be sealed with-in few weeks and the estimated cost of this acquisition is $1 Bn. Angry Birds does not need much introduction.  In its hey days, it was the most popular mobile game, becoming the first-ever mobile game to achieve one billion downloads. Hollywood even produced two movies inspired by Angry Birds and a theme park has also been constructed in China around Angry Birds. However, today the mobile game does not enjoy the same popularity.

Google reportedly in panic as Samsung may opt for Bing

Google’s engineers have reportedly gone into panic mode after it got a sniff that Samsung is planning to make Microsoft’s Bing as the default search engine across all its devices. Until now Google was the default search engine across all Samsung devices. Google’s stock dropped by almost 4% on Monday over media’s report that Samsung devices may soon opt for Bing. Google has been enjoying undisputed challenge in the global search engine market for nearly two decades now. But with Bing integrating ChatGPT into its search engine, Google is probably feeling the heat for the first time. Although Google had launched its own chatbot called ‘Bard,’ its launch failed to create much excitement.

Apple to launch its first store in India Today

The wait is finally over as Apple is all set to inaugurate its first Apple retail store in India’s financial capital Mumbai today. Apple’s CEO Tim Cook has already flown to Mumbai for the official inauguration. A huge queue of Apple fans is been reported outside the Apple Store. According to reports, Apple is now planning to open its second official store in India’s national capital Delhi. Although India currently contributes very less to Apple’s topline, the tech giant believes that the South Asian nation will make more contribution to its profit in the coming years.
