Apart from talent acquisition, Gupta will be responsible for managing retention, employee management, training, development as well as organizational effectiveness.
Gupta’s appointment has come barely few months after Zolostays appointed Sidhartha Mehra as the new chief financial officer.
Commenting on the appointment, Nikhil Sikri, CEO & Co-Founder, Zolostays, said, “Knowing the importance of talent and a strong workforce, we are thrilled to have Gupta on board our leadership team. Gupta has a strong record and extensive experience in implementing effective processes to improve both employee experiences and business outcomes, which will be a key to driving our continued growth and expansion at Zolo”.
Off late, the co-living startup has been in news over speculation that it is in talks to raise $100 Mn from Credit Suisse.
The company had last raised $7 Mn from Trifecta Capital in December 2019.
Prior to this, Zolostays had also raised massive $30 Bn in a series B round from IDFC Alternatives, Mirae Asset and Nexus venture partner.
