Apple is working on foldable iPhones and iPads: Report

According to unconfirmed reports, since several years Apple has been working on foldable iPhone and iPad prototypes. As per the rumours, Apple has created two clamshell-style foldable iPhone prototypes. However, Apple may not launch the foldable iPhone anytime soon, not at least before 2026. Some reports also claim that Apple might first launch foldable iPad before venturing into foldable iPhones. The foldable phone market will surely heat up if Apple does launch a foldable iPad and iPhone in future. The foldable phone market is currently dominated by Apple’s rival Samsung. However, it should be noted that these are just prototypes and not necessarily indicative of a final product. Hence Apple may decide to scrap the foldable design altogether.

Microsoft redesigns Copilot with new AI model  

Microsoft’s AI powered chatbot Copilot has just got a big design update. According to Microsoft’s official blogpost, the new design has a much cleaner interface and a modern design for easier navigation and better understanding of responses. The new design also boasts ‘carousel of suggested prompts’ to help users discover new ways to interact with Copilot and explore its capabilities. Microsoft also made another big announcement that the Copilot will be powered by a new AI model called ‘Deucalion.’ The company claims that this new AI model will better results, particularly in areas like factual language understanding and creative text generation. This all-new Copilot will be launched for web as well as mobile version.

Meta’s Threads app may soon add bookmarking feature to save posts   

   

Meta’s Threads app, which competes directly with Elon Musk’s X, is adding a bookmarking feature. This new feature will help Threads users to save their post for later viewing. The bookmarking feature will likely resemble Instagram’s version, with a button located next to the like, comment, and share buttons. The saved posts will be accessible from a dedicated “saved” section within the app settings. However, it must be noted that this feature is still in the testing phase and the permanent addition to the app will be done based on successful testing.
