Virgin Hyperloop lays off employees (abandons passenger transport plan)

In unexpected and sad turn of events, Virgin Hyperloop has completely given up on the plan of mass transporting passengers and will now focus only on cargo freight, according to Financial Times. Virgin Hyperloop’s decision to abandon mass passenger transportation plan has coincided with its decision to lay off nearly 111 employees.
