Samsung has finally launched its foldable phone with a staggering six cameras that sport a 7.3-inch screen when unfolded. If you want to purchase one of these you’ll end up with a mortgage of up to $2000. The phone has been launched in the United States. Will be available for purchase by 26th of April. Samsung teamed up with Andriod developers to make software specifically for this foldable phone. “App Continuity” is a special feature in this phone that lets a user continue an open app from unfolded phone to start from where he left while using the unfolded screen. Foldable phones are a way of generating interest in the minds of the consumer. And its too early to call it a success. Plus Apple too has filed for foldable phone patent, recently.

China’s Nano Fibre Technology can Make Space Elevators

The research team at Tsinghua University in China has said that they have developed a fibre, which is so strong that it can help build a space elevator. The fibre is so strong that it cannot break under heavy pressure of even 800 tonnes or equivalent to the weight of 160 elephants. According to the research team, the technology can replace the lithium-ion battery technology and enable electric cars such as Tesla travel up to 16,000 km per charge.
