Windows Phone 8 OS Powered Samsung Phones Revealed

Windows phone 8 OS powered Samsung phones revealed. Here’s complete details:

The fight for patency between Apple and Samsung which is yet to be concluded has been in the lime light in the niche world recently. The court trial has revealed many secret future plans of both the companies. Among these is a revelation concerning the early prototypes of iPhone, Steve Jobs’ thoughts about a 7 inches iPad and also a rumor that Samsung will be launching some Windows 8 devices, by the end of this year itself.

These two phones are apparently named ‘The Odyssey’ and ‘The Macro’. Both will be running on the latest Windows Phone 8 Operating System, courtesy Microsoft.  As per the leaked court documents, both will be built on Qualcomm MSM8960 chipset. Also both the devices will be powered by 1.5 GHz dual core processor on board.

Samsung describes ‘The Odyssey’ as an ‘Iconic Phone’ and it will be equipped with a 4.65 inches HD display with an 8 Megapixel rear camera. It will also come with NFC (Near Field Communication) technology which could be utilized in Windows Phone 8 Wallet hub and tap to send features.

‘The Macro’ seems to be slightly smaller in dimensions as compared to ‘The Odyssey’. It has a screen size of 4 inches and has a 5 Megapixel rear cam. According to the leaked documents, both the phones will come with full capabilities of supporting 4G LTE networks.

Though all the features of these phones are not yet made public but they will certainly strengthen Samsung’s anticipated share in the tech markets. We just hope that this time Samsung will be focusing on all the controversial points including the looks (which are till now claimed to be borrowed from Apple) and the User Interface which seems to be a bit dull as compared to Sony and HTC.
