iMac,iPod & iPhone wouldn’t have existed if…..

Today is a ‘Golden day’ in the history of Apple.

No,Sept 16th isn’t so special for Apple because of an IPO,a product launch or something of that sort. It’s the day when the “thrown out CEO” Steve Jobs was called back to take the power in his hands again at the point when things were all going wrong for Apple.

For Apple, the shares were sinking and profits were shrinking and on the other side,Steve had proven his metal with startups called Pixar(Animation Studio) and NeXT(Computer platform development company).

With NeXT, Steve produced an OS called NeXTSTEP which,in every sense was much ahead of time.

So,Amelio(the CEO of Apple before Jobs came back) bought both NeXT and NeXTSTEP, just to bring Steve back to their sinking company for a rescue sake.

After Jobs came into power on 16th September,1997,Apple regained the lost momentum and one year hence, they were happily boasting iMac to the world,an Apple product which has certainly become an identity of Apple since then.

From that time,we have witnessed many record sales making products such as iPod and the latest iPhone(both versions broke many records).

11 yrs back,if Jobs wouldn’t have got restored to CEO position by Apple board, then iMac,iPod and iPhone may not have existed today(bcoz it’s not just technology,Steve himself who gives life to every Apple creation).

On a personal note, I may sell my iPod as it’s an old version and I want to replace it with a new one.
