I used these guys and had a pretty good experience. I was studying for my CCNA and stumbled across them after I Googled them. I liked that it was online. I’m thinking about getting back into IT (which is why I’m kinda looking around again), so maybe I’ll check Preplogic out again.

Thanks for this review. I have just come across Preplogic and am very interested in their services. I am not sure what IT certification I am going to go for initially, but I mainly work with Cisco products so I think I will probably use their CCNA training. That is my best guess, at least for now. No, overall, this was a great write up. Thanks for the info, coming from someone who is really searching for good information on this company.

As the IT industry constantly changes and technologies morph, Preplogic seems to stay ahead of the game by a long shot. I have used these guys for multiple certs that I have obtained and have not really had any problems whatsoever. The one little tiny problem I did have was taken care of immediately and professionally by the customer service team, and it wasn’t even that big of a deal. They went above and beyond and I wanted to thank them for that. I like this review, I think it gives them a good, unbiased writeup of what they offer. Keep it up.

I used these guys for my A+ and they were great. I think the A+ is the one product that they review here. I was, like the reviewers, pleasantly surprised at the depth of the training. I much prefer the self study method over a boot camp. This method allowed me to study at my own pace, on my own time, and also allowed me to multitask. What I mean by that is that because I didn’t have to physically go to to a training location, I had time to just queue up the audio training on my iPod and hit the gym, etc. Good stuff from Preplogic.

Thanks for posting this. I actually signed up for their trial a couple months ago, and I just knocked out with CCNA. I did my research and saw a couple negative reviews out there, but I decided to call their 1-800 # and talk to a rep. I called and spoke with a really nice guy who walked me through everything about the Unlimited Trial. He didn’t force me into it that day, and I ended up signing up a few days later. I can honestly say this is my favorite training so far. I had actually tried a boot camp before , and I got WAY more out of this training. I’m in the process of starting my MCITP now and so far it’s going very well.

Give these guys a chance if you’re looking for some awesome self study. Their trial is a cool way to do this.

Been snooping around for a company to use to get prepared for my starter stuff like A+ and Net+. These guys look good. I’m glad I Googled them cuz I had been looking for a while.

I don’t doubt that the PrepLogic software might be helpful for some BUT the company is highly untrustworthy to deal with and I wanted to make sure that the caution is out there for anyone who wants to deal with them.

Like any criticism this comes from a personal experience and I’m sure that people out there may have had good experiences with them. However, I’m also sure that if they can screw me then they can screw with someone else as well. I bought one of their products on a $99 30-day trial. During the 30 days I sent a message to my sales rep asking to cancel my obligation; well within my original agreement. For whatever reason he did not enter my request and months later they came after me for $1000 after they had already siphoned off $1000 from my credit card (my bad for not checking my statements closer!). I have emails to prove all contact I had with them. After trying to reason with the company I realized that they held all the control in that they could refer my case to a 3rd-party collection agency thereby ruining my credit rating. That is far too much power in the hands of an unethical company.

So, just beware of this cautionary tale… it could happen to you! I just have myself to blame for not doing more research about the company before my purchase which is why I decided to write this comment.

Nice review of Preplogic. I’ve been watching the PMP videos the past few nights. Hoping to take the exam at the end of January. Now I just have to find a better job! Ha ha!
