There’s an interesting and experimentative website we came across called ‘TheGreatMovieExperiment‘ which simply asks its visitors to cast a vote for one of the two movies shown at that moment.

The voter can also choose ‘I haven’t seen it‘ if that’s the case and the unseen movie will be replaced by some other movie from the site’s movie database. It doesn’t force the visitors to sign up for casting a vote and hence quite easy to use(quite a fun actually).

Since the start of this ‘experiment’(March,09), around 1,20,000 have been cast and these are the Top 1000 movies voted by the visitors so far. Generally, the movies are rated and not voted and this ‘voting’ approach seems much straightforward and comfortable for the end user.

Nothing much to say about it, it will be quite fun for the typical movie buffs !
