Google to party “Hard” this Christmas : Amends ‘AdWords Alcohol Policy’

Google has recently announced amendment in its policies towards advertisements for Hard Liquor & Alcohol through AdWords.
Until now,one couldn’t advertise hard liquor and alcohol to Google’s affiliated publisher network through AdWords but from now onwards,most of Alcohol sellers can whole-heartedly advertise their product through AdWords,following some mild keyword restrictions.
During the fall,Google amended policy regarding ‘beer advertising’ through AdWords(they allowed beer advertisements) and now its Alcohol.It seems that Google doesn’t really want to loose out any chance of making more money out of its customers,irrespective of what the folks are selling.
And the fact that recession is taking toll on every company(Google is no exception),this policy amendment looks like awell-thought decision.The timing is also appropriate as these days,alcohol sells like hot cakes and Google will certainly make tens of millions more this month.
And ‘alcohol advertising’ is already such a disputed issue that if Google ever feels regretful over its amendment decision after poor customer feedback, it can re-amend its policy and re-apply a ban against alcohol advertising through AdWords anytime.

Adwords is really great for promoting your website and also affiliate links. i have just passed the Google Adwords Professional exam today and i am very happy.

I have been using Adwords for the last 2 years and i can only say that it increased my online sales by about 20%. The pay per click cost of Adwords is even cheaper than Adbrite. I love Adwords.
Adwords is a really great tool for promoting your website, forum or affiliate link. the ppc cost of adwords is even cheaper than Friendster or Facebook. before, i used to advertise on facebook but the ROI is so low. Adwords gives me a much better ROI compared to Facebook ads.
Adwords is really good in driving traffic to your website. however, they are very strict right now and they would not easily approve websites that they thought have low quality content. ‘;
