The service is free to consumers.

One feature that makes FirstonMars distinct is its  ability to let users have personalizati on on Online TV,similar to Music personalization concepts functional in Pandora and Last.FM

The entire site is built in Flash and the interface seems neatly worked out.But the service aggregates TV episodes of U.S. specific channels only and therefore only U.S. audiences can benefit themselves from FirstonMars.

And one should not interpret FirstonMars as a host(like Hulu.tv) for the indexed TV episodes on their site.It’s basically an aggregator of majority of U.S. based TV shows and redirects you to the hosting parties of various TV episodes.

Founded by Tuhin Roy,FirstonMars has undergone two rounds of funding from small investment funds and high net worth individuals(HNIs).Total amount of funding has not yet been disclosed.
