Google Launches “Apps Marketplace”. A Future App Store for Chrome OS ?

Google has just announced the launch of its App Marketplace for Cloud based apps. This marketplace has been primarily targeted to Google’s massive existant userbase of 25 Million users who already use Google Apps, among which, there are more than 2 million businesses, both small and large scale. More than 50 companies have partnered with Google by launching their enterprise applications at Google App Marketplace.

Is ‘Google Buzz’ A Contingency Plan for ‘Google Wave’ ?

Breaking : JooJoo Pre-ordering Kickstarts ! Should you buy it ?

Finally, the (controversial) JooJoo is here ! The much hyped CrunchPad(now JooJoo) tablet, so-called brainchild of TechCrunch Editor Michael Arrington, has opened its floodgates to start taking Pre-orders for their Internet Tablet device.

White House reacts over Privacy concerns,ditches Youtube

The official website of the US President,Whitehouse.gov,has finally taken a drift from Youtube video embeding service to Akamai content distribution network.The main reason behind this act is the privacy concerns that were bothering government officials time and again,involved in maintaining the website.

The ‘privacy issue’ was the practice that Google follows,by placing a cookie on the user’s machine who plays any Youtube video.With Youtube player, White House was unintentionally placing cookies on all those visitors straming president’s weekly addresses,breaking the federal government’s strict rule about using cookies on government sites.
